Consuta work parties and operations during 2024
The calendar above will show dates of work parties to prepare Consuta for the summer boating season,
starting in April. Consuta is currently on the K&A canal so will need to be moved to the Thames, probably late May - early June.
We have agreed to work as an umpire launch during Saturday 22nd June
at the Henley women's regatta. More details will be provided to active supporters.

Consuta work parties and operations in 2023
We set the 31st May (a Wednesday) for the launching of Consuta.
The first work party was on Saturday 1st April, the calander shows others planned.
The first jobs:- clean Consuta's boat cover,
polish all brasses, clean the hull topsides and antifouled the hull bottom.
There will be an inspection to obtain a boat safety certificate and then obtain our Thames licence.
Once launched, Consuta will be ready for some boiler and engine trials.
Consuta's boiler ticket is valid until mid summer before requiring a renewal.
The calendar above shows some potential events that Consuta could visit, or even participate.
Work completed in 2022
Sadly Consuta was not lauched during the year
However we did have a very successful boiler inspection in June including the steam test.
The boiler is in ticket until mid summer 2023.
Consuta activity 2021
Apart from the very successful steam test during September, there weren't any of the usual work parties during the year. However the Trust did put on a very successful display at the Trad boat Rally during late August 2021 with great help from our supporters
