The Consuta Trust

The Trust is a registered charity and is raising funds to provide a base for the historic steam launch 'Consuta'. The base is to be a floating boathouse and will allow visitors/supporters access throughout the year, and also have facilities for maintaining Consuta in good operational condition. The boathouse will be capable of being moved anywhere on the Thames if required, but will be based at Goring/Streatley which was the birthplace of it's builder Sam Saunders and is near the Springfield Works where built.

The Trust will need to raise about £80,000 to build this boathouse.

The sketch of the boathouse has been provided by Michael Vicary.

Donations towards the cost of the boathouse can be made for any amount  you choose through Pay Pal or by Credit Card, and can be 'Gift Aid'  if you are a UK tax payer, the Trust then claim an additional 28p for each pound donated from HMRC. All donations will be acknowledged. Click the donate button to proceed towards the donation page.
